Bill T. Hurley

Bill T. Hurley serves as Vice President, Global Government Affairs at AGCO Corporation, a global leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of agricultural machinery and precision ag technology. Born and raised in central Texas, Bill earned a B.S. in Mechanized Agriculture from Texas A&M University and holds a Master’s of Business Administration from Emory University.

Mr. Hurley has extensive experience in the farm equipment industry having spent over 20 years in various, sales, marketing and customer support positions with the John Deere Company prior to accepting a position with AGCO in 2009 as Director of Marketing. Since joining AGCO, Bill has held positions of Vice President Sales & Operations NA, Vice President Aftersales, Customer Support, and Distribution NA. He most recently held the position of Vice President, Distribution, the Americas for AGCO.
 
Throughout his career he has been active in various local, regional and national agricultural-related organizations. Bill is currently on the Board of Directors for the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM), Chair of the (AEM) Ag Sector Board, Chair of the (AEM) State Advocacy Working Group, along with serving on the Boards of the Georgia Agribusiness Council, Georgia FFA Association, and AGCO Finance Corporation’s U.S. and Canadian Boards of Directors. Mr. Hurley is also a recipient of the Honorary American FFA degree.
